Calfkiller Brewery, based in nearby Sparta, Tennessee, is back at Evins Mill by popular demand for an encore performance on Saturday, August 12. Beginning at 6:00, the brothers Sergio of Calfkiller Brewing Company will, in a setting as irreverent as it is beautiful, sample their products and share their story.

Well-known for "unparalleled drinkability, paradoxically balanced by uncompromised complexity," Calfkiller beer has attracted a devoted following among micro-brew enthusiasts and beer lovers throughout Tennessee.

The tasting will be paired with an assortment of appetizers and be followed by a festive and abundant buffet dinner, served at 7:00 and prepared by our own Chef Evans, who has attracted a following of his own, and who has designed a menu to compliment the tasting...

On Saturday, August 26 at 8:00 p.m., Evins Mill continues its "Music at the Mill" concert series with another intimate evening of acoustic music featuring accomplished singer-songwriter Tim Buppert.

Having written songs and/or sung them on albums for Trisha Yearwood, Michael Peterson and Kevin Sharp among other well-known artists, Tim has several top ten songs to his name and will be performing them and others in an informal, writer-in-the-round format.

The Music at the Mill package includes hors d'oeuvres, a four-course dinner & concert and is $60/guest, while the hors d'oeuvres-concert-only package is $20/guest. Sodas, bottled waters & alcoholic beverages are available but not included.

In conjunction with Stonehaus Winery, based in Crossville, Tennessee, Evins Mill is hosting a wine tasting on Saturday, September 9. Beginning at 6:00, Rob Ramsey of Stonehaus, will discuss the history of wine making in Tennessee and sample many Stonehaus wines.

The tasting will be paired with an assortment of appetizers and be followed by an Overlook Cookout, served buffet style at 7:00 and prepared by our own Chef Evans, who is crafting a menu to compliment the tasting...

Pumpkin Carving ~ Sat, Oct 28, 2017

On Saturday, October 28, Evins Mill hosts its annual Pumpkin Carving Contest. With adult participation in mind, each couple is given at check-in one already cleaned out pumpkin - the canvas for their creative designs! Pumpkins will come in similar shapes and sizes but are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

From 3:00 to the 6:00 social hour, guests will have ample time to carve their pumpkins, which will then be prominently displayed at the Main Lodge before dinner. The guest with the most creatively carved pumpkin as judged by our staff wins a complimentary night stay at the resort on any Enchanted Night.

Chef Evans has designed a fall-themed menu to compliment the occasion...
