  • SolstiEvinsConstrGold

On Wednesday, October 9th at 2:00 p.m., Evins Mill is hosting a brief and informal groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on The Solstice, a 6,000 square foot, three-story, eight bedroom Lodge that will be located at the highest elevation of the resort's property.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, guests are invited to the Main Lodge for a short & casual reception with light hors d’oeuvres prepared by Executive Chef Jason Evans. Please RSVP by emailing William Cochran at william@evinsmill.com, or by calling 615.286.2090 by Monday, October 7th!

For more information on The Solstice, please read below...

Slated for completion by the summer of 2014, The Solstice will inlude among its bedrooms both private accommodations and expansive suites, including a three bedroom condominium with its own kitchen, dining and living spaces.

Though situated well apart from the Main Lodge and hidden amid an elevated canopy of poplar, hickory and cedar trees, it will be convenient to all the amenities of the resort’s main campus, including fine dining, full bar, event spaces, conference rooms and recreational activities.

Unlike the resort's current creekside accommodations, The Solstice will be accessible by car, have its own private parking spaces and feature two handicapped accessible rooms. While all resort guests may enjoy all its public commons, The Solstice will feature private gathering areas available only to its guests.

With the completion of The Solstice, Evins Mill will boast 20 private overnight accommodations and be able to host notably larger corporate and special events than it has in the past and be better able to accommodate higher demend during its peak seasons.
