Capacity & Accessibility
At 6,000 square feet (and 1,500 square feet of covered decks), The Solstice houses eight bedrooms and increases the resort's roster of overnight accommodations from twelve to twenty rooms, allowing Evins Mill to accommodate would-be guests whom it now routinely turns away during peak seasons.
If The Solstice bolsters the resort's tally of rooms, it also amplifies its bedding - from 30 to 47, allowing it to host larger corporate retreats and special events. The resort's dining, event and conference spaces have already been expanded to accommodate larger groups.
If The Solstice increases the resort's capacity, it also enhances guest room accessibility. Currently, guests will navigate one to three flights of steps to access their room, depending on where they park and the type of room they reserve.
For many patrons, access is not a consideration, but for others, ease of access can enhance the overall experience. Arriving at The Solstice by a private drive, guests will park just footsteps away from its front door.
More than that, three rooms are located at entry level and involve no steps, while no accommodation features more than one flight of stairs. Equally important, The Solstice offers a handicapped accessible suite with two bedrooms and a shared living room, bath & deck.
