Get ready for a fiddlin' good time. Every Fourth of July, Smithville hosts the Fiddlers' Jamboree & Craft Festival, the country’s premier bluegrass festival. Located just minutes away from the town square where all the fiddlin' and cloggin’ contests are held, Evins Mill is the perfect springboard for a weekend of bluegrass. It's also the ideal place to celebrate our Independence Day, with cookouts and patriotic favors for all.

Every Halloween, Evins Mill hosts its ever popular pumpkin carving contest. Following lunch on Saturday, guests are given a plum pumpkin and tools to carve. That evening, pumpkins are placed on display in the Grand Lodge. With the lights dim, the panoply of pumpkins provide a magical setting for dinner. After the evening meal, guests vote on the best pumpkin. The winner receives a complimentary Bed & Breakfast package at Evins Mill.
