...but do not feature a few of the "whistles and bells" associated with Mountain Laurel rooms, such as vaulted, hardwood ceilings, higher elevation views and easier access.
Though in-room monitors feature streaming services only, television programming is available in the Stone Room at the Main Lodge and in Cortland Hall at the Gristmill.
While guests are invited to arrive as early as noon, the published check-in time is 4:00. Exclusively for guests staying Creek Side, Evins Mill offers limited bellhop service - from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on day of arrival and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on day of departure.
For those with mobility issues, it should be noted that all Evergreen rooms involve more than a few steps to access, some more than others...
Evergreen rooms in the Lockhart guest house require the fewest steps, with a 15-foot elevation change & 26 steps to navigate over a 50-foot expanse.
Evergreen rooms in the Lawrence guest house feature a 25-foot elevation change & 42 steps to navigate over a 150-foot expanse.
Evergreen rooms in the Webb guest house require the most steps, featuring a 35-foot elevation change & 58 steps to navigate over a 250-foot expanse.
