"The sleeping accommodations were superb, and each of the meals you provided was a culinary delight. The meeting facilities were first-class, and your staff went out of their way to meet our every need and expectation. You will see us again!"
Between the Main Lodge and Gristmill, Evins Mill features three dedicated conference rooms - spaces designed for meetings and that can be reserved for private use. Unlike informal gathering areas, a group may utilize any dedicated meeting room as early as it needs on the day of its arrival and as late as it needs on the day of its departure. In addition, full audio-visual equipment/support and conference table set-up, as outlined below, are available only in private conference rooms.
Taylor Hall at Main Lodge 44' x 28' (1,230 square feet)
At 1,230 square feet, Taylor Hall is the largest of the resort's three conference rooms, and is suitable for 33 conferees or fewer with a u-shape set-up, and up to 60 conferees with a classroom-style set-up. Located in the Main Lodge, where all meals are served, Taylor Hall is convenient not only to the dining facilities but also to overnight accommodations, especially the Creek Side rooms.
Davidson Room at Gristmill 34' x 27' (920 square feet)
At 920 square feet, the Davidson Room is suitable for 24 conferees or fewer with a u-shape set-up, and up to 36 conferees with a classroom-style set-up. In addition to space for traditional meetings, it also features a more casual area with club chair seating for informal discussions. Located in the Gristmill, the Davidson Room is accessible by foot or car and is convenient to Cortland Hall, the South Trail and the Adventureworks Ropes Course.
Knox Room at Gristmill 17 x 23' (390 square feet)
At 390 square feet, the Knox Room is suitable for 15 conferees or fewer with a u-shape set-up, and up to 24 conferees with a classroom-style set-up. Located adjacent to the Davidson Room in the Gristmill, the Knox Room is accessible by foot or car and is convenient to Cortland Hall, the South Trail and the Adventureworks Ropes Course.
Informal Meeting Spaces
Between the Main Lodge, Gristmill & Solstice, Evins Mill also features seven more casual gathering spaces - five indoor areas & two covered decks where groups can meet informally - but only if no other guests are present.
While Evins Mill can provide easels & flipcharts in all informal gathering areas, other av equipment such as LCD projectors & drop-down screens are available only in private meeting rooms.
Main Lodge & Gristmill
While the Main Lodge houses the resort's largest meeting room (see Taylor Hall above), it is also home to four refreshingly informal gathering areas, including Adele Commons and the Stone Room, both seating up to twelve conferees, and Manning & Ivy Overlooks, covered decks with breathtaking views.
The Gristmill is home not only to two dedicated conference rooms (see Davidson & Knox rooms above) but also to Cortland Hall, a large game room with parlor-style seating for nine conferees and with booth style seating for as many as sixteen conferees in a single "pod."
Unlike informal areas in the Main Lodge & Gristmill, common spaces in Solstice are accessible only to guests staying there. Arcadia & Sylvan Commons, located on the first & second floors of Solstice respectively, can each seat a maximum of eight to nine conferees, while Halcyon Commons, located in the third-floor penthouse, can seat as many as sixteen conferees. Groups who reserve all eight rooms in Solstice have exclusive access to these common gathering areas from 4:00 p.m. on day of arrival to 12:00 p.m. on day of departure.
In its three conference rooms, the resort uses 72" long rectangular tables, which can seat two/three conferees per table and be configured in a variety of styles...
hollow square or rectangle
In Taylor Hall only, Evins Mill can also set-up 60" round tables, which can seat a maximum of eight per table. In Davidson & Knox Rooms only, Evins Mill can utilize more comfortable club chairs if tables are not part of the set-up.
Evins Mill also provides full audio-visual services & wireless internet in each of its three dedicated conference rooms, including...
DVSL wireless connection (50 down/10 up)
LCD projector, drop-down screen & av cart
easels, flipcharts, markers, dry erasers & tape
podium, PA system & microphone
For guests with electric vehicles, Evins Mill offers two Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Stations will service all electric vehicles, though guests with Teslas will require an adapter, which should be provided with their vehicle.
While Evins Mill does not provide in-house shuttle service, it is pleased to partner with Signature Travel, a Nashville-based company that specializes in group transportation and special events. Signature has over 18 years' experience in the Middle Tennessee area.
